David is passionate about innovative and cost-effective engineering which places the client at the centre of the solution. David is the founder and Managing Director of ZAIT Engineering Solutions located in the heart of Western Sydney. David established ZAIT Engineering Solutions in 2015 with a strong drive for engineering excellence and services to the construction industry and the community.

Throughout a career spanning over two decades of industry experience, David has led complex projects that are considered industry-leading and that have delivered billions of dollars in direct and indirect benefits to the construction industry and broader community.

David has experience across diverse projects within the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, spanning across structural, civil and façade engineering capabilities. Working closely with his trusted team, he takes an active role in projects from inception through to completion.

Sohrab Nezami

Sohrab is a civil and structural engineer with over 17 years of experience in design and construction of a wide variety of projects. His thorough attention to detail along with hands-on site experience gives him a good understanding of constructability which is incorporated into his designs.

Sohrab forms excellent working relationships and provides a well-balanced practical attitude. His ability to develop, drive and control outcomes on even the most challenging of projects has been
grounded in safe, quality driven, cost-effective processes.

His areas of significant experience and expertise include: Structural engineering of high-rise buildings especially in high seismic areas, PT elements, retaining structures, FRP strengthening, aluminium and GRC panels, industrial building with heavy duty cranes and forensic engineering for structural failures.

With over 40years of experience, Brian has led many iconic projects across a wide variety of sectors, such as the GPO redevelopment Martin Place, Suntec city Office Towers Singapore, Kurnell Desalination Project, Hunter Correctional Centre, Promenade Apartments Parramatta, ANZAC Primary School Cammeray, Ibis Novotel Hotel Sydney Olympic Park. Tasman Rasuna Apartments Jakarta and Powerhouse Apartment Complex Mary Ann Street Ultimo.

Brian is dedicated to the highest standards of quality control through systematic engineering and multi-disciplined design management. Problem solving through lateral thinking and his lengthy experience and exposure to all design disciplines is at the heart of his personality to go beyond solutions based only on structural engineering. Solutions that optimise time, cost and quality as required for the design or construction situation at hand.
